The traditional music of indigenous Australians holds a lot of meaning to their culture. Family Farm Day

Bring your family and a picnic lunch to Family Farm Day at Charnews Farm! The Peconic Land Trust, 4EC, and the Southold Mothers’ Club will co-host a bushel full of kid-friendly activities. Dance to original music by musician Darlene Graham! Meet farm animals! Go on a garden treasure hunt, learn how to plant seeds, find out about birds of prey and how to make a corn husk doll. Get to know your food’s roots from engaging Slow Food educators. Sheep shearing demonstration and pony rides too! All of these fun activities will take place at the Peconic Land Trust’s Agricultural Center at Charnews Farm, which spans 23 acres of farmland and includes an 1889 farmhouse, barn, and accessory buildings.
